Santa Monica, CA — Corporate brand and communications agency Baker announced today it is providing brand, culture and marketing consulting services to DriveCam, an international company based in San Diego which is the leader in technology that improves driver efficiency and safety for commercial fleets.
DriveCam has helped reduce collision-related expenses, fuel costs and the risks of audits and lost business for more than 500 commercial and government fleet clients worldwide. The company monitors 20 billion driving miles annually and helps identify and address the causes of poor driving by combining sight and sound with real-time, predictive analytics.
“We are delighted to be working with DriveCam, who is on the forefront of the science of safe and efficient driving for families as well as transportation companies,” said Gary Baker, president and chief creative director of Baker. “The company’s innovative technology has protected more than 400,000 drivers worldwide and continues to save fleets millions of dollars each year.”
The rebranding program Baker is creating will include a strategic platform, new identity, as well as comprehensive brand architecture and naming. In addition, the firm will be developing a training program that integrates DriveCam’s new brand and a forward-thinking approach to employee engagement and human capital management.
The rebranding effort coincides with a major period of growth and expansion for DriveCam. Last year, the company grew its subscription base by 50 percent and expanded its global footprint through key strategic partnerships. A growing number of fleets, domestic and international, now use DriveCam technology to ensure driver safety and efficiency.
“The development of a new brand is an organic and ongoing process,” said Baker. “We look forward to a continued collaboration as we help implement the new program in the upcoming months.”
