Yee-Ping Cho

Yee-Ping Cho is an award-winning designer with proven experience in creative direction, art direction and design in the areas of corporate communication and branding. Over his career, he’s had the opportunity to work with clients including Fluor, Qualcomm, Hilton, Oxy, Sempra Energy, UCLA and USC. Beyond Baker, he has served as principal of Yee-Ping Cho Design, a designer with Jim Cross at Cross Associates, and a senior graphic designer with the in-house retirement plans communications group at American Funds.

In his role at Baker, Yee-Ping stands as a beacon of innovation and a master of visual storytelling. Helming internal creative, he breathes life into concepts and transforms ideas into captivating visuals. He crafts visual narratives that resonate with intended audiences and ensure a project’s message is delivered with clarity and impact.

As an ardent learner, Yee-Ping finds great value and satisfaction in sharing knowledge with others as evidenced by his adjunct teaching gigs with The Art Institute, Art Center, Venice Arts and TypeEd. His work has been recognized and published in The One Show, Communication Arts, Print, AIGA, The Type Director’s Club, AR100, The NY Art Director’s Club, Graphis and Photo District News, as well as found in the permanent collection in the United States Library of Congress. His photos have also appeared in the Wall Street Journal and the publication The Graphic Eye.

In addition to his artistic flair, Yee-Ping is a talented collaborator who seamlessly integrates feedback from stakeholders to further refine designs that drive results. He is a guardian of quality and creativity, and leaves an indelible mark on every project he creates.
