Even in first grade, math just clicked for Wendy. At the same time, she had a real love for art, whether it be drawing, painting or sewing. Given all that, her role as accountant for our creative agency isn’t so far off from her childhood talents. As accountant at Baker, Wendy manages cash flow, account financials, budgeting, payroll and financial statements. In her 25 years of experience in accounting, she’s explored a wide array of industries including insurance, technology, fashion and news media.
Nowadays, Wendy balances her spreadsheet-focused hours with creative pursuits beyond the office walls — including playing bass guitar in a band. When not managing cash flow or playing music, you’re likely to find her taking care of her dog and cats. Wendy holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and accounting from Oglethorpe University in Atlanta, Georgia.
