Baker Adds Top Creative Talent

Santa Monica, CA (September 18, 2006) — Baker has announced the addition of David Blankenship to its creative staff. Blankenship will assume the duties of second design director with the Santa Monica-based brand consultancy and design communications firm.

In his new role, Blankenship is responsible for the supervision of creative teams and the development of creative initiatives for Baker clients. His initial focus will be on Baker clients Maguire Aviation, Nationwide and Safeway.

Blankenship has created, implemented and managed visual vocabulary systems and identity-focused branding systems for a host of prestigious companies, including AMGEN, Lexus, FMC Technologies, and Yahoo!. His 10 years of professional experience encompasses all aspects of art direction and design-product management, and his creative design work has appeared in ID, Communication Arts, Graphis, Critique, Metropolis and Dwell magazines.
