Baker Creates New Online Presence for CKE Restaurants, Inc.

Santa Monica, CA (November 22, 2004) — Baker has created a new website for CKE Restaurants, Inc., www.ckr.com, to further support the company’s corporate and investor communications and unify its major brands — Carl’s Jr.®, Hardee’s® and La Salsa Fresh Mexican Grill® restaurants.

The Santa Monica-based brand communications firm has worked with CKE Restaurants for more than two years, creating award-winning annual reports and other marketing communications. Wanting to bring the same polish and energy of their 2003 and 2004 online and print annual reports to the corporate website, the company hired Baker for the design and development of the web project early in 2004.

Appealing simultaneously to its investor and consumer audiences, the new site features delectable product photography, lively Flash animation, an overarching corporate message unifying the brands and a look more consistent with the corporate identity.
