Santa Monica, CA (July 5, 2005) — Baker, a brand consultancy and integrated designed communications firm, announced today that it was named “Top Annual Report Agency of the Year” for a second consecutive year by the League of American Communications Professionals (LACP). This year’s 2004 Vision Awards Annual Report Competition had more than 1,400 entries representing 17 countries.
LACP recognized all six annual reports that Baker submitted. Baker won top awards in the Management and Financial-Money Center Banks, Telecommunications and Restaurants & Related category, receiving the Platinum Award for its 2004 IndyMac Bank, 2004 Qualcomm and 2005 CKE Restaurants annual reports. Its Nationwide Financial annual won Silver for the Insurance & Related category, and Baker received Bronze Awards in the Pharmaceutical and Healthcare category for its Cephalon and AMN Healthcare annuals.
Three of its six annuals entered — Qualcomm, IndyMac Bank, and CKE Restaurants — ranked in the Top 100 annual reports of the year as judged by LACP. The judging was based on the following criteria: overall effectiveness, narrative quality, financial reporting, message clarity and creativity.
